Ingredients
- A few garlic scapes
- A handful of fresh herbs (an herb medley or single herb, such as sage, chives, thyme, parsley, or fresh dill)
- A lemon (optional)
Directions
Mince together a few scapes with your herbs, and mix it together with a stick of softened butter. (I put a stick in the microwave for about 15 seconds to soften). Use this on garlic bread, braised greens, and vegetables or anything you want to put on the grill. It is wonderful on fresh fish, but any meat would work as well as any vegetable. Awesome with hakuri turnips and turnip greens sautéed for about 5 minutes.
